Celebrated as a bastion for psychedelic music, art, and culture, Origin strives to promote Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect for all, as we strengthen our own global community based on conscious party ethics and respect for nature.
The techno-shamanic tribes from around Southern Africa (and further afield) gather in this beautiful valley nestled in majestic mountains every year to reconnect with friends, nature and oneself.
All communities are important to us and as such we are privileged to be able to offer a percentage of our profits every year to development projects under the guidance of the local municipality.
We will continue to limit our ticket sales to the same number of tickets as previous years to keep Origin Festival focused on quality over quantity, with a bespoke experience for the committed fans of psychedelic art, music and culture creating an amazingly relaxed event for all. We believe we have found the sweet spot by doing so, and this helps us prepare a very special event for a fully committed crowd.
Once again this year we are offering a larger number of Early Bird and Phase 1 tickets, as we made available in our previous edition, to make the festival as affordable as we can, while maintaining the same high production quality that Origin is known for. We urge you to buy as soon as possible which will save you some money and also help us to create the best possible experience for all.
There are No farm cottages / farm accommodation available to rent, please do not call the farm to enquire about this. The festival uses all farm accommodation.
Luxury Camping Options set in a private and secure area, with 24/7 management, that includes exclusive and well managed Toilets and Showers only for use by Camp Comfort attendees.
Camp Comfort Camping tickets do NOT include festival entrance tickets, those must be bought separately.
Budget friendly pre-set up tents with mattresses and pillows in general camping.
Easy Life Camping tickets do NOT include festival entrance tickets, those must be bought separately.
We welcome you into the kaleidoscopic womb of our Temple of Colour, which continues to morph with new additions and variations to this exquisite installation.
As ever our lineup promises to host some of the best musical talent South Africa has to offer, plus major International Headliners too. Our lineup curators have once again put together a journey that will carefully flow through the weekend.
Opening Friday afternoon with Yoga and an Opening Ceremony to set our collective intentions, the weekend then gets kick-started and lasts all night till sunrise. After a short break, dubby beats roll through Saturday morning and lunch time, before diving back in again for Saturday night and all day Sunday with more full-throttle psychedelic beats.

Aptly named, The Beats Floor has become a key feature of Origin, with its carefully curated artists and amazingly quirky decor. Positioned in the most idyllic location for a dance-floor, amongst the trees alongside the beautifully fresh mountain water of the Elandskloof river, the lush riverside lawn calls out for all you sun-seeking denizens. Warm Melodic Techno and Organic Deep House weaves into an ecstatic eruption of good vibes to keep the dancers and mermaids spinning!

Refund, Re-Sales, and Cancellation Policy
No Refunds. You can Re-Sell your ticket prior to the event if you can no longer attend the event, and then safely transfer your ticket via FIXR’s ‘Ticket Transfer’ option.

We are blessed with a beautiful venue, surrounded by a community that lives there all year round. Please respect their space by driving slowly & carefully, not stopping on other farm properties, do not leave any roadside litter, be respectful if visiting any local shops along the way and be thankful for this community to allow us to return each year.
Trust your instincts. Do not accept drinks in open containers. Report suspicious behaviour. Keep your valuables safe at all times, ideally on your person. Leave laptops, cameras and valuables at home.
The ground is not an ashtray, please respect the environment and the venue and keep cigarette butts off the ground.

Elandskloof Guest Farm, Helderstroom.
Our home is the beautiful Elandskloof tucked away between Villiersdorp and Greyton, only 125 Km from Cape Town. This lush green valley with its fresh mountain streams, welcoming forest filled with Oaks, YellowWoods and Redwoods; and towering mountain backdrops, beckons us once more for an adventure in connecting, laughing, relaxing and enjoying nature in all its glory.

DIRECTIONS
Take the N2 past Somerset West over Sir Lowreys Pass.
Continue past Botrivier.
Turn left onto the R43 / Villiersdorp turnoff.
After 14km turn Right towards Helderstroom / Greyton.
Follow the road past Helderstroom prison (on your left).
The road becomes a gravel/dirt road. – SLOW DOWN
Travel on the dirt road until you get to a Y junction.
At the Y Junction take the Left fork and immediately follow the road straight ahead.
Look for arrows and signs.
