Likeminded festival lovers from around Southern Africa (and further afield) gather in this beautiful valley nestled in majestic mountains every year to reconnect with friends, nature and oneself.
Community is important to us and as such we are privileged to be able to offer a percentage of our profits every year to amazing organisations like The Earthchild Project, Greenpop and local social development projects under the guidance of the TWK municipality too – the municipality in which Origin takes place.
All festival tickets include access to the general campsite. Bring your tents and get comfy!

There are No farm cottages / farm accommodation available to rent, please do not call the farm to enquire about this. The festival books out and uses all farm accommodation.
Luxury Camping Options set in a private and secure area, with 24/7 management, that includes exclusive and well managed Toilets and Showers only for use by Camp Comfort attendees.
Camp Comfort Camping tickets do NOT include festival entrance tickets, those must be bought separately.

For 2027 the Artescape team are designing an entirely new stage and dance floor canopy. Planning is well underway and the ideas are next level! A truly exceptional and unique dance floor awaits!
Our lineup promises to host some of the best Psytrance talent South Africa has to offer, plus exciting International guests too. Our lineup curators are once again putting together a journey that will carefully flow through the weekend.
Opening Friday afternoon with Yoga and an Opening Ceremony to set our collective intentions, the weekend’s music begins and lasts all night till sunrise. Laid back beats roll through Saturday morning and lunchtime nearby in the food court, before the Origin stage launches back into the stratosphere for Saturday night and all day Sunday with more full-throttle psychedelic beats.

Madcap details, secret nooks, screen printing and more are waiting to be explored when not shaking your tails to the best Techno, House and Dubby beats.
Positioned in the most idyllic location for a dance-floor, amongst the trees alongside the beautifully fresh mountain water of the Elandskloof river, the lush riverside lawn calls out for all you sun-seeking denizens.

Origin has a limited number of tickets for sale each year. For 2027 we are sticking to the same number of tickets being made available as previous years to keep Origin Festival focused on quality over quantity, with a bespoke experience for the committed fans of psychedelic art, music and culture creating an amazingly relaxed event for all. We believe we have found the sweet spot by doing so, and this helps us prepare a very special event for a fully committed crowd.
This year we are offering a larger number of Early Bird tickets while also adding an additional sales tier – that means we have the same amount of tickets as last year, but there are smaller amounts of tickets per tier now (with the exception of Early Birds). The earlier you commit the better the deal is 🙂 Tickets are priced as affordable as possible while ensuring the same high production quality that Origin is known for.
Plus !! We now have a Payment Plan option with FIXR (our ticket agents), whereby you can pay for your tickets with monthly instalments, to help anyone who might struggle with the cost of a one off payment. (*Payment Plan available for Tiers 1/2/3/4 only. Early Bird tickets are not included)

Refund, Re-Sales, and Cancellation Policy
No Refunds. You can Re-Sell your ticket prior to the event if you can no longer attend the event, and then safely transfer your ticket via FIXR’s ‘Ticket Transfer’ option.
*Anyone buying a ticket from a private person should only do so if they personally know them (ie: the person is a trustworthy friend or family member)

If you really have to buy from someone, please double check with FIXR first to authenticate if the ticket you are buying is real. *Anyone buying a ticket from a private person should only do so if they personally know them (ie: the person is a trustworthy friend or family member) Tickets can be sold by a friend, and then legitimately transferred into your name via FIXR’s Ticket Transfer system. Never just send money over to someone you don’t know… there are many Con-Artists out there eager to take advantage of you, don’t be duped!
By attending this event you are acknowledging you are part of something special. A community of people based all over this planet that loves music, outdoor festivals, alternative culture and new experiences. We are blessed with a beautiful venue, surrounded by a community that lives there all year round. Please respect their space by driving slowly & carefully, not stopping on other farm properties, do not leave any roadside litter, be respectful if visiting any local shops along the way and be thankful for this community to allow us to return each year.
Trust your instincts. Do not accept drinks in open containers. Report suspicious behaviour. Keep your valuables safe at all times, ideally on your person. Leave laptops, cameras and valuables at home.
The ground is not an ashtray, please respect the environment and the venue and keep cigarette butts off the ground.

Elandskloof Guest Farm, Helderstroom.
Our home is the beautiful Elandskloof tucked away between Villiersdorp and Greyton, only 125 Km from Cape Town. This lush green valley with its fresh mountain streams, welcoming forest filled with Oaks, YellowWoods and Redwoods; and towering mountain backdrops, beckons us once more for an adventure in connecting, laughing, relaxing and enjoying nature in all its glory.

DIRECTIONS
Take the N2 past Somerset West over Sir Lowreys Pass.
Continue past Botrivier.
Turn left onto the R43 / Villiersdorp turnoff.
After 14km turn Right towards Helderstroom / Greyton.
Follow the road past Helderstroom prison (on your left).
The road becomes a gravel/dirt road. – SLOW DOWN
Travel on the dirt road until you get to a Y junction.
At the Y Junction take the Left fork and immediately follow the road straight ahead.
Look for arrows and signs.
