Our amazing new venue is less then 80kms from Cape Town (as the crow flys..), about 100kms by road ;)

You can expect : a beautiful flowing River with sandy beaches, grassed fields, shaded camping and stunning views. See the ‘venue’ page for some pics.

Now you have a few options to work out how to find Origin this year.

GPS

The GPS co-ordinates are :

If you are properly connected, you can ignore all of this below and check out our mobi site for full turn by turn directions, ie: you can punch in your address on your phone and google maps will give you directions from your driveway to the gates of Origin.. nifty!  (yeah we thought so too..)

Option 1: via Malmesbury

Take the N1 from Cape Town, towards Paarl
By Canal Walk/Century City, take the N7 slip way towards Malmesbury.
Follow the N7 just past Malmesbury.
Take Exit 68 (the 2nd exit into Malmesbury), at the T junction then turn right onto the R45, and follow it through Malmesbury for 2 km.
Turn Left onto Piet Retief (R45). Follow for 4.4 km
Turn Left at R46 and follow the road for 22 km going past Riebeek Kasteel.
Dirt Road on the left, will be sign posted.
Venue is 3 km along dirt road.

*** ROADWORKS ***

please note, rather typically.. there are roadworks by the R44/Adam Tas/Exit 47 exit on N1, so to go via the R44/Wellington Route take the exit before or after (see ‘Options 2 and 3′ below)

Option 2 : via Wellington

From Cape Town, take N1 towards Paarl.
Take the exit toward R304, Turn left at R304.
Turn right at R312 after 16 km, Turn left at Adam Tas St (R44) follow for 9km.
Continue onto Champagne St for 3km, Turn left at Stokery Rd and continue onto R44 and follow for 19km. Turn left at R46. Head through Hermon and 1km after bridge turn Right onto Dirt Road. (Will be sign posted)
Venue is 3 km along dirt road.

Option 3 : Via Paarl

From the N1, take Exit 55, onto the R45/Main rd through Paarl
Turn right at Oosbosch St towards R301 / Wellington
Left at Champagne St, towards R44
Turn right at Stokery Rd
Continue onto R44 and follow for 19 km
At Hermon, turn left onto R46.
Drive for 3 kms, over bridge, look for signs, dirt road on your Right.
Once on the gravel road drive for 3kms.
Will be signs.
