Environmentally Speaking

As with all GoodTimes events we strive to follow as ‘Green’ guidelines as possible.  We have our own recycling system, allow only the use of biodegradable soap at our showers (provided by Hemporium), provide free portable ashtrays to all smokers (cigarette butts are possibly our worst cleanup issue), use biodegradable cups at our bars, ensure all traders use biodegradable/sustainable cups-plates-containers-cutlery, and for the first time this Origin festival introduce the ‘Green Police’.  The Green Police is an idea we spotted from the Glastonbury Festival in the UK, basically these friendly folk will be on the watch for any misfits who think not using the toilets provided, littering, or any doing any other environmentally Un-friendly acts are duly ridiculed, fined, slapped silly!

Conscious Cinema

The Conscious Cinema returns with screenings of movies on matters of global and spiritual importance at various intervals throughout the weekend. (Any organisation who would like to offer content, please contact us to discuss your inclusion)
